Switchvox Overview
Switchvox includes all the normal features you would expect from an IP PBX such as conferencing, faxing, voicemail, music on hold ability, call control and call routing, call parking, call pickup, do not disturb, paging, hold, caller ID, Find-Me, Follow-Me, and transfer ability.
Switchvox and its power-packed, yet simple set of features will maximize your business communications. Switchvox can make calls using whatever method makes the most sense for your business. VOIP, traditional analog lines, video calling, the IP phones of your choice—it's all up to you. Switchvox offers all the basics, like hold and transfer, plus handy tools like Call Parking and Call Pickup. With Switchvox, you have complete control over how your incoming and outgoing calls are routed. This can help you save money, and protect against downtime. You can also set the outgoing caller ID per extension and group, for a better interaction with your customers!
Switchvox includes the IVR. Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is an automated way to greet and interact with your callers. An IVR can be very simple or highly complex, and can even interact with your other business applications. IVR is sometimes referred to as Auto Attendant.
The Switchvox software allows you to create call queues. With Switchvox queues, you can create the best experience for your customers. You can upload music or record announcements, and you can let your callers know when they can expect to talk to someone. If you have remote employees, Switchvox can route calls to them, including calls from a queue. Callers would never know if they were talking with an employee in your main office or a remote worker on the other side of the world. Included with the ability to create queues are queue statistics reports. See the calls that are happening in a call queue at the moment, plus the day's statistics on a queue and its members. Those statistics include things like the number of completed and abandoned calls, and also member information such as completed and missed calls, and login and paused time.
Included with the Switchvox software is the Switchboard which allows you to drag and drop your calls, update your CRM, chat with co-workers, integrate Google maps, and see presence all on your desktop. With Switchboard, call management is easier than ever.
